The annual Spring Festival is coming again.
The Spring Festival, also known as the Lunar New Year, is commonly known as the New Year's Eve and the first day of the first month. But in the folk, the Spring Festival in the traditional sense refers to the festival from the twelfth lunar month to the eighth lunar month or the sacrificial stove on the 23rd or 24th lunar month, which culminates in the New Year's Eve and the beginning of the first lunar month. The Spring Festival has a long history, which originated from the worship of gods and ancestors at the beginning and end of the Shang Dynasty. During the Spring Festival, Chinese Han and many ethnic minorities hold various activities to celebrate. These activities are mainly about worshiping gods and Buddhas, worshiping ancestors, removing the old and making new arrangements, welcoming the new year and receiving blessings, and praying for a good harvest. The activities are rich and colorful with strong national characteristics.
