In recent years, there have been many new types of materials, but PP board is still widely used. Not only in the decoration industry, but also in many home appliance and industrial industries, this material is used. The material itself has good corrosion resistance, a certain degree of transparency, and a high cost performance ratio. The service life of the product is very long, and its elasticity is very small. The outer surface of the board is very smooth, with a general thickness ranging from 0.75 millimeters to 200 millimeters. The thickness of the board used outdoors is larger. Nowadays, the use of PP boards in laboratories is increasingly accepted by customers and constantly promoted for application.
2. PP board is acid and alkaline resistant
PP board (polypropylene) product characteristics: PP board has low density, good hygiene performance, and good corrosion resistance. Impact resistance, corrosion resistance, high heat resistance, non-toxic and odorless, smooth and beautiful surface, low density and light weight, no toxic gas generated during welding, and easy processing. PP board can be filled, reinforced, flame retardant, and modified with embossed or frosted surface. The application scope of PP board: circuit board and metal surface treatment tank, wet treatment equipment for circuit board, factory exhaust gas discharge system equipment, wastewater and other system equipment, and industrial related equipment for semi-finished products.
3. Flame retardant performance level of PP board
The so-called V0 level is a grade standard for plastic flame retardancy, gradually increasing from HB, V-2, V-1 to V-0:
HB: The lowest flame retardant rating in UL94 standard. Require a combustion rate of less than 40 millimeters per minute for samples with a thickness of 3 to 13; Samples less than 3 millimeters thick have a combustion rate of less than 70 millimeters per minute; Or turn off before the 100mm mark.
V-2: After two 10 second combustion tests on the sample, the flame extinguishes within 60 seconds. Burning materials can fall off.
V-1: After two 10 second combustion tests on the sample, the flame extinguishes within 60 seconds. No combustibles should fall.
V-0: After two 10 second combustion tests on the sample, the flame extinguishes within 30 seconds. No combustibles should fall.
